Blogging and Some Stuff

Gee.
It's been 2 wonderful months since I last posted an entry.
I must be very busy. And yeah I'm actually busy : :)

WELL.

I missed blogging, it's kinda weird that I share random stuff here about me and everyone has the possibility to read it:)) It's fun anyway. Do you know that blogging can make you happier? It's TRIED and TESTED. Since a blog is an online journal where we write our daily life experiences, and we always post entries, we improve our writing and reading skills :) By blogging you can express yourself easier and you start to learn observing using the proper words and correct grammar. SEE :D Make one now!

Jaycee, Me, and Cam -- my classmates from Ahead

HMM.
I can't seem to think of anything right now.
EXCEPT the tests and exams i'm gonna take soon.
Oh. I just thought of something that wouldn't wanna make me think again.
There I Go. GOTTA SLEEP :)

Scared to say goodbye to summer? End it with a Party!

If you have the budget, why don’t you organize a house party where you celebrate the ending of a good summer?
Or if you don’t have the budget, have your friends as party organizers so you plan together as a group and each of you can contribute to the expenses of the party.
Cramming? That’s the reason I’m here.

1.) Select a theme- a party is always best celebrated with a theme, here are some samples you can choose from. (FYI. the themes are all original, no copy paste)

--> Summer Blast- FULL OF COLOR.

This theme should be super colorful, and should speak about how great your summer went, buy lots of colorful papers, glitters, and more colorful stuff, you can serve assorted flavored shakes, ham sandwiches, fries with ketchups, hotdogs with marshmallows, as long as it’s colorful.

--> Summer in Hollywood- SPARKLY.
End your summer with a glamorous party having ‘Summer in Hollywood’ as your theme. You’ll be needing lots of foil papers, either more of silver, or gold for the glam feel. While for the foods this goes better with a heavier meal, how about pasta and garlic bread? You can also serve margaritas in transparent wine glasses as drinks.

--> Dance Party- FUTURISTIC
If you feel so alive then this one’s best for you. This theme is more of the dancing and less of the eating. Make your place look futuristic, have a ‘metallic’ dress code that the partygoers would follow. Serve only light meals and drinks. Try Nachos with dips, potato chips, and vegetable salads with different dressings for a healthy meal.

2.) Build your team of Organizers- Carefully choose the people who’ll help you organize the party, for they will also be responsible for what would happen and how the party will go. You can choose your friends.

3.) Know your budget and don’t overspend- It is important that you know your budget, it’s also important that you know how to choose quality items in cheaper prices.

4.) Plan the Party- Is it going to be a open party? A private party? Or a programmed party? Plan from the smallest details, it matters.

--> Make the Guest List- If it’s a private party, make a list of the people who would come to the party so that you know many food you’ll prepare. Having a guest list on a private party also eases the work of the organizers since you know the people at your party.

--> Plan your Menu- Plan this according to your theme. Buy enough food so that the party won’t be ruined because you had food shortage.

--> Set your time- 3 hours is enough for a party, don’t make it too long, the longer the time, the more responsibility you have to take. Make a specific time.

--> Budget the money- You have to be money-wise when it comes to shopping for the things you’ll need at the party such as the food, decorations, and miscellaneous expenses. Know the things you need. Write them on a paper to prevent buying unnecessary stuff.

--> Buy the things needed- You should do this a week before the party, so you and your organizers won’t have to cram during the party.

--> Send the invitations-
If it’s an open party, you can just PM your guests through Facebook or Multiply. But if it’s a private party, send the invitation one week before the party. To save money, you can just print the invitation in colored or specialty papers.

--> Decorate the venue- Decorating can be done a day before the party. Check the tables, the chairs, and the lightings. Make your theme stand out.

5.) Party Time! – Finally! The party you’ve been waiting for. But don’t forget that you are the organizer of the party so what happens there is your responsibility, have a little house rule to keep everything in order. Party all night but watch your guests. After the party, remember to thank your guests for coming to your after-summer party. You can also give souvenirs and giveaways to your guests.

YEY. IT’S PARTYTIME!
Hope I’ve helped you with these.

Plan your party now!And send me the invitation =]

The People in this game called Life

I dunno why I’m writing this right now but I know that this has something to do with my roller coaster life.

Life is the gift of love and existence in this world we live in. It can be good or bad. The people around you are the persons who can make and break your life. Of course YOU hold your life, but since we have this thing called influence, you might change the way you hold your life. Every person has the power to influence another; some others just don’t know how to use it. And I was one before; I can be influenced by any person to do something as long as I want it. But EVERYONE GROWS and LEARNS. So now I’m enjoying life influencing others, turning the tables around. And take note: INFLUENCING is not FORCING. Everyone has the right to accept, and to reject.

In my 15 years of existence on Earth, I’ve met so many kinds of persons.

I’ve met persons who are fun to be with, bubbly and funny persons, hard to deal with, persons who are self-centered creatures, selfish, generous and more.
And meeting them some of them was great, because you learn how to adjust yourself. Flexibility.

Just be friendly. Don’t be too choosy and snob the persons you don’t feel like talking to, it’s worth a try.

Britney better watch Out

OMG

Britney Spears has been my favorite popstar for like... 6 years.
But since this news came out, I'm thinking twice :]
'Cause I LOVE Leighton Meester

It IS confirmed that GG's Leighton Meester would have her debut as a popstar!
Her album is expected to drop this year.

YES!

This 23-year old Gossip Girl meanie has signed a record deal with Universal Republic. She already spent hours in the studio recording with the producers of the bests artists which includes Justin Timberlake, Fergie, Pink, and a lot more.

The Charming Leighton

Her song "Bette Davis Eyes" is said to be a huge hit when it comes out! Good luck Leighton! :D

She may be Upper East Side's Queen Bee. But who knows? This queen might just get a new crown.

It's Summer Baby!

What’s the Say?

BORING
-Some people say that summer is a boring break where you do nothing at home but endlessly do household chores, eat and sleep. It’s the time where your eyes get really big eyebags for sleeping late and waking up early just watching TV.

While for some others… (Including me)
SUMMER is the PERFECT TiME to go out, get up, and go play! You don’t really have to get the broom all the time, and frown while cleaning.

Summer Fun
Why don’t you spend your days out with your girls and go somewhere relaxing, like beautiful streets of Serendra and BHS, or the amazing Eastwood City. What makes it better is you have the time to party, since there are no classes, so just make the most of it.

Sleepovers
Gawd. I so love sleepovers. It’s so much fun, all you gotta do all night is talk and share stories. Why don’t you have a sleepover with your friends and plan something to do the whole night? Sounds fun!

Or if you feel thrifty…
You can always buy DVD’s, have a movie marathon, make delicious shakes and eat popcorn. It’s not that bad. You can also update your different accounts to gain more viewers on your profile. Or enroll on a summer workshop of your choice, and I’m sure that’ll add extra fun to your summer.

That’s it for today
I gotta go back to my summer

The Earth Hour and PHILIPPINES

YEY!

I was watching the news and heard that our beloved Philippines got the number one spot of the country with most cities who participated at the 2009 Earth Hour. President Gloria must be very happy, or very proud. Good for her.

I didn’t really expect that, the only light I turned off during the said Earth Hour is the one on our bathroom. And I feel guilty, I should’ve off more lights.

Dianna’s Info for the Day:
For those who don’t know what the Earth Hour’s purpose is, it’s an hour (obviously) of saving energy by turning off your lights to help contribute to fight nature’s biggest nightmare, Global Warming. And trust me it’s scary as hell.

I think this started in Australia by Australians of course, who are concerned for the environment. Then the next two years, the local movement got Global, and now more and more countries are participating. Thanks to them! Really smart people; great ideas come out of their minds. Now the world feels like a safer place.

So if you didn’t participate on this year’s Earth Hour, do participate next year. How hard is it to turn off your lights anyway?

Question:
What do you think about this year’s Earth Hour?

-Ciao!

Glitter Pens and Colored Papers

Doodles.
I can always remember the simple things that made me happy.

Everytime we go to the mall, I always brag my parents to go to National Bookstore and get something for me, I ask for notebooks, glue, glitter pens and colored papers. Those things may not be so important that time, but it makes me happy.

I don't even know where to use those stuff, and sometimes it looks so good that I don't wanna write it anymore.

some doodle i made during our retreat,
i was actually writing what the speaker was saying

I’m sure some of you likes doodle-ing too, or writing your name on a colorful piece of paper.

Writing this post, I recall happy memories in life
And realized that there’s a lot of blessings that we don’t see.
They come in different packages, noticing only the big ones.

And seldom have we noticed the small blessings because we thought that it wouldn’t make a change in our lives, but it does, in small things too.

So get your pen and write something
Draw anything that’s in your mind!
It will inspire you someday :P

half of my collection of pens

I appreciate the people who we’re always there for me, the friends who cheered me up and made me laugh. The pens and papers I’ve been using for years. And my parents who gave me the life I super almost wanted.

Just doodle it!
It’s kinda relaxing…

"He Will Hit You Again"

Oprah says it on her show, again.

This was actually her previous message to the 21-year old super famous singer who we all know as Rihanna. Oprah even looked directly in the camera when she said "If a man hits you once, he will hit you again". She's right anyway.

the beautiful Rihanna

Assaulting Rihanna wasn't fun, and it wasn't cool, it will not make anyone rich, but it does attract a lot of gossip. But I don't believe that this was kind of a big publicity stunt. They couldv'e jumped off a cliff, but not this.

And I agree with Oprah. He will hit her again.
But Rihanna shouldn't worry too much, she has a LOT of super fans out there who's willing to support and cheer her up. =)

My Say:

If I we're Rihanna, I would've told Chris Brown to drink pig blood and drain himself on a pail of worms. What a big problem Chris must have. But that's life, he's the one who got himself into this kind of predicamend. Face it Chris.

And as of now Chris Brown is free on his $50,000 bail. But I think this wouldn't last that long.

We should think first before we act people.
I hope that this Rihanna-Chris Brown issue gave us a lesson.

Thanks to you who's reading the blog, hope you read more of my posts =P

A Disease in the Mind

Disturbia. Boredom.

These days we’re pretty tiring.

And I can’t even sleep. WTH. Insomnia anyone?

OKAY.

So I’m actually not in the mood to write something inspiring right now. My mind is controlling me, but I’ll get over it soon. I just wanna sccreeaaamm!!! Everything’s insane! I am SO tired, and my phone’s not working. Good thing there’s blogging.

And whoever created friendster or facebook God bless both of you.

You guys are blessings. You’re so intelligent.

Momma should be proud of you.

so effin sleepy in my room

Again I wanna sccreeeaaaaammm! This week is so dull, like my hair last Tuesday. I’ve been doing lots of household chores and it just made my hands look poor. I washed the dishes, did the laundry, and ironed my clothes, ala-Cinderella huh? But the only difference was, I have no birds and other little creatures to help me with all the work.

PRAY

The best solution for everything. Prayers. Just do your part, don’t rely so much on prayers. God will provide the answer, then you apply that in reality. A bike won’t run if you’re just going to look at it, you need to ride on it before it works.

I’m tired. Sleep tight everyone.
